Social Media Guides by Industry and Use Case
What an official social account should post varies a lot by industry, and so do the laws and industry rules to watch. Each page covers one industry or use case: common problems, post topics, how to run it in SNS TOWN, and what to watch out for.

What you post depends on your industry
A restaurant posts today's prep and the seasonal dish. A real estate company posts new listings and neighborhood life. A manufacturer posts technology and the factory floor. Even under the same label of "social media management", what readers want to know and what you may say differ by industry.
For example, clinics cannot use patient testimonials in advertising under medical advertising rules, and real estate companies need evidence behind words like "bargain" or "the best" under labeling rules. Restaurants and retailers running campaigns need to check Japan's rules on prizes. The last section of each page summarizes the rules worth checking for that industry, based on public sources.
How SNS TOWN works is the same for every industry
Whatever your industry, the basic way of using SNS TOWN is the same. First write facts only your company can state, and things not to write, in your company profile and key messages. Then set the weekdays and times to post in your post cycle, AI writes drafts, and only what a person has read and approved goes out on time.
Each industry page says where to put extra effort in this framework. For photo-driven industries it is the Library; for strictly regulated industries it is how approval works; for industries where reactions turn into sales it is auto replies and campaigns.
Pages by industry
Every page starts with the problems common to that industry's social media, then goes through example post topics, how to run it in SNS TOWN, and what to watch out for. The table below lists the features to emphasize and the rules to check for each industry.

Pages by use case
Beyond industries, you can also choose by how you operate or what you want to achieve. There are four: solo staff juggling social media with other work, agencies and production companies managing several clients, multi-store and franchise businesses with many stores or members, and companies focusing on product launches and events. Each describes a starting point that fits that setup and where people tend to get stuck.
Frequently asked questions
There is no page for my industry
The features and flow are the same even for industries not listed here. Reading the closest industry page and the page for solo staff will give you a sense of how to start. Laws and industry rules differ by industry, so check with the relevant authority or industry association.
Do I need a different plan for each industry?
Plans are not divided by industry. You choose by the number of accounts you connect, the number of people and the features you want. See Pricing for details.
Does SNS TOWN check legal compliance?
SNS TOWN's pre-publish check catches wording that reduces reach on social media and posts that are too similar to recent ones. It does not judge whether you comply with any industry's laws. If you write "Things not to write" in the company profile, AI drafts will avoid them, but we recommend a person always reads and approves in the end.
I run businesses in several industries
You can keep separate companies and brands. If you keep the company profile, social accounts and members separate per business, AI drafts will be written to fit each one.

- Social Media for Restaurants: Post Every Day, Even Between Prep and ServiceRestaurant social media has a strong material in photos of the food, but nobody has a free hand to post during service. Store photos in the Library, let AI draft the text, and decide the posting times ahead. With these three, you can keep posting even in the gaps between prep and cleanup.
- Social Media for Retail Shops and Online Stores: Keep New Arrivals and Sales ComingRetail shops and online stores always have something to announce: new arrivals, restocks, sales and seasonal features. In SNS TOWN you book fixed schedules in bulk with CSV, count clicks to product pages with short links, and fill the days in between with AI drafts.
- Social Media for Hair and Beauty Salons: Turn Treatment Photos into BookingsFor hair and beauty salons, photos of the finished result are often what brings customers in. But choosing photos and writing captions between appointments is hard. In SNS TOWN you store photos in the Library, AI drafts the text, and booking enquiries get a reply by a process you set.
Social Media for Clinics and Treatment Centers: Keep Posting Within Medical Ad RulesClinics and treatment centers have a narrower, more clearly defined range of what they may post than other industries. Patient testimonials and before-and-after photos, which work well elsewhere, are off the table. In SNS TOWN you tell the AI up front what not to write and publish only what a designated person has approved, so you can keep posting within the rules.- Social Media for Real Estate Agencies: Listings and Neighborhood Life, Within Labeling RulesReal estate social media gets read for listing photos and information about life in the neighborhood. But property ads are subject to industry labeling rules, so you need to watch words like "bargain" or "the best" and listings left up after a sale. In SNS TOWN you tell the AI which words the code says to avoid, approve before publishing, and can delete posts about sold properties from the screen.
Social Media for Construction and Renovation Firms: Turn Site Photos into TrustIn construction and renovation, much of the value lies in work that can't be seen once the job is finished. Photos taken on site are one of the few ways to show it. In SNS TOWN, site photos flow from a Google Drive folder into the Library and AI writes drafts from your company materials, so people on site never have to think about post text.- Social Media for Manufacturers and B2B Companies: Put Your Technology and People in Front of CustomersSocial media for a manufacturer or B2B company won't bring orders right away. Your readers are customers' contacts, job candidates and local people. By posting steadily about technology, the factory and the people who work there, it becomes a place where they get to know you before they inquire or apply. In SNS TOWN, AI writes drafts from your company documents and press releases.
Social Media for Schools and Classes: Show the Classroom to People Considering EnrollingPeople choosing a school or class want to know the atmosphere and the teacher's personality before they enroll. Social media can show that, but writing text between lessons every time is hard. In SNS TOWN you set posting slots like a class timetable and send routine notices, such as cancellations and trial lessons, from templates.- Social Media for Inns, Hotels and Tourism: Seasonal Scenery and What Guests Want to KnowPeople choosing a trip pick a destination from photos of scenery and food, then come back to the account before booking. For an inn or attraction, social media is the place to show both seasonal appeal and what guests want to know before staying. In SNS TOWN you build up photos in the Library, AI drafts seasonal posts, and you can post in English through a separate brand for overseas guests.
- Social Media for Recruiting: Show the People Who Work Here Before They ApplyPeople looking for work check a company's social media before applying. A job posting lists pay and hours, but not who works there or how they look doing it. In SNS TOWN you keep recruiting posts separate from your business posts, AI drafts from employees' stories, and posts go out after approval, so recruiting communication keeps going.
By use case
Running Social Media Solo Alongside Other Work: One Weekly Check Is EnoughMany people are asked to run social media alone, on top of other work. Coming up with ideas and writing every day doesn't last, but checking something you've already set up once a week does. In SNS TOWN, once you've set up your company profile and posting slots, AI prepares the drafts and you just approve them to keep posts going.- Social Media for Agencies: Separate Each Client, Publish After ApprovalThe more clients an agency takes on, the heavier the scheduling, materials and permissions become. Which client's post goes out when? Who checked it? Did you remove access for the colleague who left? In SNS TOWN you give each client its own company or brand, invite the client's contact to approve posts, and keep a record as you go.
Social Media for Multi-Store Chains and Franchises: Headquarters' Template and Each Store's VoiceMore stores means more social accounts. If headquarters writes everything, stores lose their own stories; if stores are left alone, wording and frequency scatter. In SNS TOWN headquarters distributes a template through templates and the company profile, store staff add their own store's story, and posts go out after a person you choose approves them.- Social Media for Product Launches and Events: Announce Before, During and AfterAnnouncing a launch or event once on the day will not reach people. Tell them ahead of time, remind them just before, and post on the day and afterwards too. In SNS TOWN you plan announcements in bulk with the calendar and CSV, collect reactions with giveaway campaigns and auto replies, and can pause every scheduled post at once if plans change.
