The more names you speak under, the more things get mixed
While you run social media for a single company, there is no problem. But as brands, shops, or clients you've taken on increase, the headaches change. You write a draft in another brand's voice, post from the wrong account, or a member of one company can see another company's schedule.
To prevent these mix-ups by design, SNS TOWN makes the company or brand one big container. Post material, connected accounts and who can see what are all separate for each container.
What is separate for each company or brand
The following are kept separately for each company or brand.
| Kept separate | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Company profile and key messages | Material the AI uses when writing drafts |
| Social accounts | Connected accounts, plus posts and schedules |
| Members and roles | Who can open it and what they can do |
| Notifications | How they are received, and the company's Slack |
| Plan and credits | Pricing and balance |
| Language for posts | The language AI drafts are written in |
An AI draft is written using only that company or brand's information and files. Talk about Brand A's products never leaks into Brand B's drafts. How to write the material is explained in Company Profile and Key Messages.
The language you write posts in is also set per company or brand. A brand aimed at the home market can use Japanese and a brand aimed overseas can use English. The language of the screen is set separately for each person, so you can manage English posts from a Japanese screen. Details are in Post Language and Screen Language.
Switch from the header
At the left of the header is the name of the company or brand you have open. Click it to open the list of companies and brands you belong to, and choose one to switch to that company's screen. You can also choose a social account to its right, so "which account of which company am I looking at" is always shown in the header.
If other companies or brands have unread notifications, their total appears as a red dot at the upper right of the closed switcher. Open it and the count per company is listed, so you notice if approvals are piling up in another brand.
When you log in, the company or brand at the top of your list opens, along with the top social account in it. Putting the company you use most at the top means you don't have to switch every morning. How to switch is covered in Adding and Switching Companies and Brands.

Add, reorder, delete
The list of companies and brands opens from "Companies / brands" under "Manage." The list shows your role, the number of connected social accounts, the number of members and the number of unread notifications for each.
To add one, enter a company or brand name and a language for posts in the box below the list and press "Add." One person can own up to 20 companies or brands as an admin. An added company or brand becomes usable once you subscribe to a plan for it.
To reorder, drag the ⋮⋮ at the left of a row. The order is remembered per person, so members of the same company can each order it the way that suits them.
Only an admin of that company or brand can delete it. To confirm, type the company name exactly and press "Delete." Social account connections, posts, files, company profile and remaining credits are removed and can't be restored.
Who it suits
Manufacturers with several brands and shops with an account per location can split companies and brands by brand or location so that material and schedules don't mix. The thinking behind multi-location management is in Multi-Location Businesses and Franchises.
Agencies and production companies can create a company or brand for each client and invite that client's contact as a member. Clients can only see their own company's screens and never another client's schedule or numbers. Details are in Agencies and Production Companies. Inviting members and roles is explained in Members and Roles.
Frequently asked questions
If I separate companies and brands, are the fees separate too?
Yes. Plan and credits belong to each company or brand. After you add one, it becomes usable once you subscribe to a plan for that company. You can compare plans on the pricing page.
Can I use one social account in two companies or brands?
No. A social account is connected to one company or brand. An account that another company already holds can't be connected to a different one.
How many companies and brands can I create?
One person can own up to 20 as an admin. Ones you join by invitation don't count toward this number.
Can members see other companies and brands?
No. Members can only open the companies and brands they were invited to. If the same person is invited to several, their header lists exactly those.
If I switch to a brand that posts in English, does the screen become English?
No. What a company or brand decides is the language for posts, and the language of the screen and email is set per person. You can run a brand that posts in English while keeping a Japanese screen.
Does my reordering apply to other members?
No. The order is remembered per person, so reordering it yourself doesn't change anyone else's order in the same company.
Can I restore a deleted company or brand?
No. Deleting removes social account connections, posts, files, the company profile and remaining credits. We recommend exporting the company's contents from the settings screen before deleting.
