A Facebook Page is your shop's notice board
A Facebook Page is where a company, shop or organization publishes official information. It is created separately from a personal profile and can be managed by several people. It works well for changed opening hours, temporary closures and event announcements, the kind of news you want to reach local customers reliably.
If X and Instagram are places for new people to find you, a Facebook Page is closer to a place to tell people who already know you. Longer text and links are easy to include, so you can treat it as a closer-to-home copy of the announcements on your website.
Only Facebook Pages can be connected
What you can connect in SNS TOWN is a Facebook Page, never a personal profile. When the owner grants access on Facebook's authorization screen, you return to SNS TOWN and choose which Pages to actually connect. Even if you manage several Pages, only the ones you select are added.
Connecting a Facebook Page does not connect Instagram along with it. You press "Connect" separately for each network and each account, so an account you didn't intend never gets added. SNS TOWN never holds your password, and you can revoke access at any time from Facebook's settings. For the steps, see Connecting social accounts.
What you can do with Facebook Pages in SNS TOWN
When you pick a Facebook Page in the header, the composer changes to the Facebook Page layout.
| What you can do | Details |

Text can be up to 63,206 characters and images up to 10. Posts are published through the official Facebook Pages API. What the API can do is published in the Facebook Pages API posts documentation.
Link posts and short links
A Facebook Page is a network where it is easy to link to your website or online shop. When you add a link card, the title and image of the page behind the URL are shown as a card. A card can only be attached to a post without images or videos, so create posts that show photos separately from posts that show links.
When you want to know how many people clicked a link from which post, use short links. Clicks are counted per post. When you put a URL in the body in the composer, "Shorten URLs" appears, and clicks are counted per post. You can also add UTM tags (marks that tell your website analytics where visitors came from), so visits from Facebook can be separated in your site's analytics too.
Publishing together with Instagram
Because both are image-based posts, a Facebook Page and Instagram can be published as a pair. If you have connected both, a "Post to Instagram too" switch appears in the composer, and you can publish the same photo and text at the same time. See simultaneous posting for details.
Note, however, that Instagram cannot publish without an image or video, and cannot take a link card. If you made a link-only post for your Facebook Page, either skip Instagram for that one, or add a photo and rework the text before posting.
Scheduling, approval and analytics
Posts can be scheduled for a set date and time, saved as drafts, or sent through approval before publishing. If you set days and times in your post cycle, AI prepares the drafts. The check right before publishing stops text that is too long and posts that come less than 1 hour after the neighboring post. Items derived from X's recommendation system are only shown as cautions on Facebook Pages.
Analytics reads the Page's follower trend, and reactions, comments and shares for each post. Impressions and reach are not read as of October 2026, so please check those numbers in Facebook's Page Insights.
Tips for running a Facebook Page
On a Facebook Page, a lack of updates easily makes people wonder, "Is this shop still open?" You don't need to post daily; posting on set days, even once or twice a week, makes the whole Page look alive. Setting the days in your post cycle makes it less likely you will forget to post.
You have plenty of room for text, but the basic rule is to make clear what the announcement is about within the first 2 to 3 lines. Put the information readers want to check, such as dates, places and prices, near the front. How to set up a Page and decide what to post is covered in Facebook Page basics.
Frequently asked questions
Can I post to my personal Facebook account?
No. SNS TOWN connects Facebook Pages only. To publish as an official account, create a Facebook Page separate from your personal profile, then connect it.
I manage several Pages. Will all of them be added?
No. After you grant access, a selection screen appears, and only the Pages you choose there are added. To add another Page later, press "Connect" again and select it.
Can I mix images and video in one post?
No. On a Facebook Page, a post can have either up to 10 images or 1 video. Carousels that mix images and video are available on Instagram and Threads.
Can the connection ever drop after I connect?
A Facebook Page connection has no expiry. It does drop if you revoke access on Facebook's side or are removed as an admin of the Page. In that case, press "Reconnect" on the social accounts screen.
