TikTok reaches people through the content itself
TikTok is a network where you watch short vertical videos one after another. The For You screen shows many videos from accounts you don't follow. That is why even a brand-new account with few followers can be seen by many people, depending on the video.
On the other hand, whether a viewer watches a video that appears is decided within seconds. For a shop's or company's account, short clips of scenes only your company can shoot, such as hands at work, a time-lapse of something being made, or staff answering questions, are more likely to be watched.
Status as of October 2026
Under TikTok's developer rules, videos published from an app that has not passed review are limited to the "Only me" audience (TikTok Content Sharing Guidelines). Once the review is passed, we will make it connectable for everyone. This page explains what you will be able to do in SNS TOWN after connecting, following how the code works now.
What you can do with TikTok in SNS TOWN
When you pick a TikTok account in the header, the composer changes to the TikTok layout.

There is no default audience. TikTok's rules require the owner to choose each time a post is made, so you cannot publish without choosing. If someone has turned off duets (a feature where others film alongside your video) or stitches (a feature that uses a clip of your video) on the TikTok app side, they stay turned off in SNS TOWN too.
Before publishing, SNS TOWN reads the connected account's settings from TikTok. The audiences available for that account and the maximum video length are matched to what is read. Differences in the composer are explained in How composers differ by network.
Content disclosure and consent
TikTok has rules requiring videos made for promotion to be labeled as such. SNS TOWN's composer has a "Content disclosure" section with two options.

A paid partnership cannot be published with the "Only me" audience. This is also TikTok's rule, and SNS TOWN stops it before publishing. By posting, you agree to TikTok's music usage confirmation (and, for a paid partnership, the Branded Content Policy). The composer shows links to them. Rules specific to video networks
Like YouTube, TikTok is a network with only one video per post. Scheduled posts and drafts are available, but AI drafts from a post cycle, drafts from RSS and simultaneous posting are not included. Even if AI writes the text, a person has to shoot and prepare the video.
Once the video is ready, put it in the Library, pick it in the composer, and make it a scheduled post. The check right before publishing stops posts with no video, descriptions over 2,200 characters, and posts that come less than 1 hour after the neighboring post. TikTok engagement numbers are not read in SNS TOWN's Analytics as of October 2026. Please check the numbers in the TikTok app.
Tips for running TikTok
What is easy to keep up on TikTok is filming the same type of video again and again. If you set a pattern, such as "Every Friday: a time-lapse of the week's work" or "Answering one customer question at a time," you don't hesitate over what to shoot, and viewers understand what the account is about.

Frequently asked questions
When will I be able to connect TikTok?
As soon as TikTok's review is complete. As of October 2026 the review is in progress, and regular users cannot press "Connect."
Isn't choosing the audience every time a hassle?
TikTok's rules require the owner to choose every time when publishing from an outside service. The rule exists to prevent publishing to the wrong audience by mistake, so SNS TOWN follows the same format.
Can I delete a published video from SNS TOWN?
No. The TikTok API has no function for deleting videos, so delete them from the TikTok app.
What should I choose for a video that introduces our own products?
In "Content disclosure," choose "Promoting your own products or services." It is shown as "Promotional content" on TikTok. When you feature something at another company's request, choose "Paid partnership with another company."
